Hanggliding Beginner Course

Dates and prices 2009

Programme:
The duration of the beginner course in hanggliding is one week mornings only, because of the better learning conditions. The afternoons are free to discover the beautiful area of the Causses and the gorges of the Tarn. You will have a various choice of sport-activities like canyoning, climbing, canoeing/kayaking, hiking, horse riding, mountain biking, pot-holing, sailing and wind surfing.   
We will help you to organize your free afternoons by arranging for you any of these activities. 
The beginners course is made up of practice and theory, the practice has always priority when the weather allows it. Our training slope allows an adapted progression from 0 to 60 m height. You will learn hanggliding in an international atmosphere with students coming from various countries. We provide all the material necessary for your beginner course (hangglider, harness, helmet and insurance civil liability), it is only necessary for you to bring ankle boots, knuckles and your sleeping bag.

                                                                                     
Lodging:
You will be lodged in our guesthouse in 4 bedrooms with private shower and toilet. You can also rent a double room for an extra of 50 €. Our guesthouse is situated near the castle of Cabrières, which belongs to the 12th century.  Near your room you can use the huge living room with a fully  equipped kitchen, an open fire place and a vast terrace and garden. The meals are prepared on a self catering basis together with the other students.

Dates and prices 2009:

Arrival and departure are always saturdays. The beginner course always start on Sunday.
Maximum 12 students/course. You can ask for special dates, if you are more than 6 peoples.

Included in the price:
7 nights of lodging in our guesthouse, reception dinner, breakfast on the first day, 6 days of beginner course with all material provided, insurance civil liability. The lodging will be in 4 bed rooms, if you want a double room, we will charge an extra of 50 € for the room, please make your reservation before arrival.

It is necessary for you to take along:
Sleeping bag, ankle boots, knuckles, bath towels and much good mood! For the use of the lodging on a self catering basis we will ask for a guarantee of 50 € by each student, which will be returned at the end of the course if the guesthouse is left fully clean and without damage.
