Discovery holidays in Cabrières

Our guesthouse is located in Aveyron in the southwest of the Massif Central which offers
spectacular landscapes. Its plateaus, called the Causses, have unique flowers. If you watch
the sky, you will see vultures flying over the Tarn gorges. Sheep dominate the economy.
Their milk is used for making the famous Roquefort cheese which is matured in limestone caves.
Beautiful villages are located on the banks of the Tarn river. Downtown in Millau City, you
will observe the highest bridge in the world which was achieved in December 2004.

For sports-lovers and people who like thrills lots of activities are waiting for you:
hanggliding and paragliding, canyoning, rock climbing, Via Ferrata, hiking, horse-riding,
mountain-biking, canoeing and kayaking.
We will help you to organize your holidays in this great natural area.

For the following journeys we can fix a program for groups from 6 to 8 people. The prices
are dependant on the programme. For 10 people or more, we can also organize week-ends.

      Individual hiking and discovering
 After a good breakfast we will give you maps and all the information you will need for discovering the region: hiking, visiting cultural or natural sites, markets, museums, castles: a region with plenty of surprises is waiting for you. In the evening you will exchange your experiences of the day during a nice meal in front of the fire-place or on our vast terrace.

          Nature holidays and sports
 Hanggliding or paragliding, climbing, caving, horse-riding, canoeing, hiking or visiting Templar-sites, the Millau Viaduct, markets or just magnificent landscapes. For groups from 6 to 18 people we can organize an individual programme for you. Please contact us for dates and prices.

 Collecting chestnuts and grilling them in the fire-place, walking in an autumn-landscape, visiting the Roquefort caves and a sheep-farm to find out how to produce the milk, cooking some jams, visiting the Millau-Viaduct or the Templar-sites and learn a lot about this region, the natural habitat and the inhabitants......
